Elder Joseph the Hesychast Orthodox Icon
Elder Joseph the Hesychast was a monk and elder on the Holy Mountain and reposted in 1959. As a true ascetic he became the spiritual father, and grandfather, of many modern elders, including elders Ephrem of Philothou and Joseph of Vatopedi.
