Christ "Golden Hair"

This is a copy of a very ancient and famous icon from Novgorod Russia. The depiction is very close to that of "Not Made With Hands", yet is a variation without the cloth. The title comes from the stands of hair being the color of gold on the Savior's head. As an interesting note, the original comes from a two sided icon on which the opposite side depicts the "Adoration of the Holy Cross."
