Christ "The Good Shepherd" Orthodox Icon
A very nice modern Russian icon of Christ as the Good Shepherd. The parallel reference to this icon comes from the Gospel of St. John "The theif comes to steal, kill and destory. I have come that they might have life and have it to the full. I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down his life for his sheep." John 10:10-11
