Mother of God "Deisis" Orthodox Icon
This
is a very common depiction of the Mother of God in which She is seen
supplicating. Usually, the Deisis is seen as three icons together; the
Mother of God on the Left, Christ in the center and St. John the
Forerunner on the right.
